As a Lead Engineer - Mechanical, you will be responsible for:

  • Design activities on our compressor and turboexpander products.
  • Collaborating with multiple engineers and suppliers you will ensure quality control and on-time delivery.
  • Enjoying opportunities to convert new technology ideas into products you’ll introduce innovations to an already pioneering business.

As a Lead Compressor Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading design activities and reviews to provide technical guidance and to share project related status updates. Technical areas to be managed on project basis:
    • Thermodynamics
    • Rotor dynamics
    • Material selection
    • Sealing technologies
    • Unit operation
    • Cad drawings and mechanical configuration.
  • Actively interacting with strategic Customers located in Saudi Arabia, becoming strategic entry point
  • Developing strong and reliable knowledge of centrifugal compressors technical standards and Customer specifications (i.e. API617, Saudi Aramco’s SAMS and more)
  • Supporting Modon shop for Mechanical Running Test, rotor balancing and more
  • Providing engineering support to internal teams to assist with activities that span the full, technical project life-cycle (from ITO to Commissioning) with specific focus on projects located in Saudi Arabia
  • Owning the delivery of technical documentation and drawings to ensure consistency with engineering policies and contractual specifications
  • Overseeing relationships with global and local vendors to manage time-zones and successful on-time delivery of required components

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a solid Engineering background.
  • Have a minimum of 05 years of experience in either Mechanical Engineering Thermodynamic or Fluid Dynamic.
  • Demonstrate experience of using CAD software such as Unigraphics or similar.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and teamwork attitude in dealing with complex technical issues.
  • Have familiarity of finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
  • Be a problem solver, with an analytical approach to identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
