Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to identify, improve, and resolve fabrication-related issues across production processes, including the integration of automation into existing processes and equipment.
• Directly participate in the development, qualification, and commissioning of production equipment to support product manufacturing.
• Collaborate with the design team as needed to address internal and external inquiries related to mechanical design and assembly methods.
• Troubleshoot major production issues and customer complaints, providing both short-term containment actions and long-term corrective solutions.
• Provide specialized technical expertise in support of special projects, pilot builds, and continuous product and process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare, review, and present engineering reports with clarity and conciseness; contribute to proposal development; lead complex technical discussions; and organize and facilitate effective meetings.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences, preferred from the field of: Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering or Automation Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant working experience in machining processes or mechanical processes or automation in a manufacturing setting.
• Preferably with experience in mechanical parts manufacturing or similar industries, 2+ years of relevant working experience in automation projects is a plus.
