We are looking for: Lead Engineer - Network Applications and Training Simulators

You’ll make an impact by:

· Own TNA/OTS project engineering end-to-end: Lead data migration, data population, enhancement implementation, and Acceptance Testing for Transmission Network Applications and Operator Training Simulator components across the project lifecycle.

· Resolve variances hands-on: Personally execute testing and fix data/functional variances surfaced during Acceptance Testing rather than only directing others through them.

· Negotiate feature acceptance with customers: Work alongside the Project/Product Manager and account team to resolve open items and negotiate acceptance of delivered features directly with the customer.

· Design customer-fit solutions: Translate customer needs into practical technical approaches for TNA and OTS solutions, balancing scope, timeline, and system stability.

· Solve complex integrated problems: Troubleshoot issues across power-system applications, real-time integrations, and simulator environments, and drive root-cause resolution with limited oversight.

· Guide engineering execution: Set direction for implementation, debugging, and delivery practices so teams can execute reliably and maintain quality under project pressure.

· Improve delivery through automation: Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve engineering productivity, repeatability, and project outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in electrical engineering from a reputed institution.
• 6-10 years of work experience working on SCADA or EMS applications.
• Demonstrated prior ownership of TNA and/or OTS components on real customer projects, with depth in the end-to-end application (data migration, population, enhancements, Acceptance Testing) rather than only external-facing or superficial exposure.
• Strong hands-on experience with power-system network applications and related real-time utility environments such as SCADA, EMS, DMS, and OTS environments.
• Solid understanding of power-system concepts and studies, including areas such as load flow, contingency analysis, planning applications, and real-time operational context.
• Deep understanding of interfaces and how different product components connect, integrate, and communicate with each other across a complete solution.
• Strong coding skills and proven ability to debug complex, integrated systems in practical project environments, including hands-on data migration and Acceptance Testing execution.
• Demonstrated ability to architect solutions, troubleshoot independently, and own end-to-end technical delivery with limited oversight.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to customers, handling technical discussions confidently, and using AI or automation in a practical engineering or delivery context.
• Nice to have
• Prior hands-on working experience with multiple components of Siemens Spectrum Power.
• Experience supporting bids, proposals, or pre-sales technical discussions.
• Experience mentoring other engineers or helping raise team delivery standards.
• Experience building AI agents or workflow automation solutions to improve engineering or delivery efficiency.

• Comfortable setting technical direction and driving delivery with limited oversight while staying accountable for outcomes.
• Works effectively with customers, project managers, internal engineering teams, and support or delivery teams across the life of a project.
• Communicates clearly through customer presentations, technical discussions, written documentation, and regular status or risk updates.
• Brings a practical, delivery-focused mindset and can lead by example rather than relying on theory alone.
