Job Description


• Providing solutions from concept ideas to validated products.
• Application of scientific and engineering methodologies to solve tasks from product upgrades to full NPI projects with global impact.
• Creation of new variant of products to solve customer requests
• Provide technical support to our partner units and customers
• Maintain and update existing products to adapt them to market needs

Roles and Responsibilities

Conceptual or theoretical activities related to the principles of engineering, physics, and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. Includes the analysis of static (structural) and dynamic behavior of mechanical systems

  • Develop new components, assemblies and full Drives for High-voltage circuit-breakers.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of drives. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
  • In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • Uses high level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters.
  • Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. Use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
  • A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides guidance and mentoring to new and less experienced team members

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires advanced experience in the field of Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Significant on job experience in similar position and field
  • Deep understanding of mechanical drive systems and High-voltage applications
  • Knowledge of NPI process and international standards
