In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of building services engineering systems with a focus on HVAC for challenging pharmaceutical and biotechnology projects. You will support projects throughout all phases, from concept development and execution to commissioning and handover to the client.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

Design and sizing of ventilation and air conditioning systems in GMP-regulated environments
Design of room air and process air systems
Development of heating, cooling, steam, and condensate systems
Design of sanitary systems and utility supply systems
Preparation of concepts, specifications, and technical calculations
Coordination of HVAC disciplines with internal and external project stakeholders
Support in feasibility studies, tendering processes, and contractor selection
Participation in cost estimates and proposal preparation
Ensuring compliance with GMP, quality, and safety requirements

Show your expertise

Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy and Environmental Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Initial professional experience or several years of experience in HVAC design and engineering
Experience in ventilation design, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or GMP-regulated environment
Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (SIA, VDI, DIN, or equivalent)
Experience with CAD and/or BIM design tools is an advantage
Fluent German and good English language skills
Structured and solution-oriented working style, with a strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration
