Lead Engineer Hardware Design (m/w/d) Camera Systems

Location: Budapest

Your tasks:

This role provides technical and cross‑functionalsupportfor Hardware Design Implementation across product development, manufacturing, suppliers, and quality activities. The position acts as a central interface between Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, and external partners to ensure high‑quality,compliant,and on‑timedelivery ofCamera Systems for our complex products in healthcare

Your tasks:

• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Manufacturing, Risk, Reliability, Compliance, RA/QA, Systems Engineering, and Technical Sourcing to align technical execution with product, quality, and schedule objectives

• Represent Hardware Design Implementation in project and program forums; communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions, and escalate issues whenrequired

• Coordinate technical interfaces between Hardware, Software, Firmware, and other engineering teams to ensure clear ownership, aligned requirements, and integrated delivery

• Maintain strong, high‑level product knowledge of Hardware, Software, and Firmware, with solid mid‑level understanding of Mechanical and Electrical design aspects
  

Your profile:

• Degree in Engineering or related field with relevant experience

• Strong experience collaborating across Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Quality functions

• Proven ability to lead technical discussions, reviews, and cross‑functional decision‑making

• Experience with backlog management and work tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or similar)

• Solid understanding of design controls, change management, and regulated product development environments

• Proficiencywith standard business tools (Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
