Job Description

As a Hardware Lead Engineer, you will play a key role in defining, developing, and validating hardware solutions for next-generation hearing aid products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business and system needs into robust hardware requirements and innovative electronic solutions.

Working in an international R&D environment, you will be involved from concept development through implementation and verification, collaborating with experts across Hardware, Acoustics, Software, Mechanical Engineering, and Product Architecture teams.

What You Will Do

  • Define and develop hardware requirements from system level down to product level.
  • Design and specify electronic circuits and hardware solutions.
  • Translate stakeholder inputs into structured, traceable, and documented requirements.
  • Drive requirement discovery through workshops and cross-functional discussions.
  • Perform electronic circuit debugging and root cause analysis of complex technical issues.
  • Propose and implement robust technical solutions.
  • Conduct electronic design verification and validation activities.
  • Support hardware development projects from concept to implementation.
  • Prepare and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Architecture, Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, Software, and Product Management teams.
  • Contribute to future hardware concepts, technology platforms, and portfolio planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.

What you bring

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within Hardware Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong background in electronic design, electronic components, and applied electromagnetics.
  • Experience with PCB design, circuit development, and electronic simulation.
  • Knowledge of chip design and hardware verification activities.
  • Experience in requirements engineering and technical documentation.
  • Proven ability to solve complex hardware and system-level technical challenges through structured root cause analysis.
