The Group Digital Capabilities (GDC) division designs and maintains cutting-edge IT solutions that support Euroclear’s strategic objectives. Within GDC, the Straight-Through Processing (STP) Tribe focuses on delivering and supporting solutions that manage transactional flows, reporting, and messaging for Euroclear’s clients. Our mission is to ensure seamless, secure, and high-quality data and message processing across systems, leveraging modern technologies and cloud-native architectures. 1
We are seeking a Lead Engineer to lead the migration of multiple applications to a cloud-based (Microsoft Azure) environment using .NET and containerisation technologies This role requires strong technical expertise combined with leadership skills to guide development teams through a complex transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Migration Leadership: Drive the migration of existing applications to a containerised cloud environment, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Technical Expertise: Design and implement solutions using .NET technologies within container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of developers, testers, and technical experts, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet Euroclear’s technical and business requirements, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with product owners, tribe leads, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.
Continuous Improvement: Promote DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience in NET development and cloud migration projects
Strong knowledge of containerisation technologies (Kubernetes, AKS).
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code, preferably in Azure Devops
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing technical teams.
Ability to work in an Agile environment and coordinate across multiple squads.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
