  • Manage the full subcontracting process for civil engineering services, from defining technical scope and evaluating tender offers to overseeing subcontractor performance, schedule, and cost.
  • Coordinate as the primary civil engineering point of contact for mechanical, electrical, and plant engineering disciplines to resolve critical technical interfaces and design challenges.
  • Provide direct technical support to civil construction sites, including traveling to project locations to troubleshoot field issues, review method statements, and ensure design compliance during execution.
  • Control project performance by tracking engineering deliverables, monitoring civil material quantities, and implementing recovery plans to mitigate any risks to the project schedule or budget.
  • Direct essential administrative and financial tasks, including resource planning, budget forecasting (EAC), and the approval of subcontractor payment milestones.
  • Escalate any issue which need the involvement of direct management and/or peers, whether it is linked with Safety, Quality, Delivery or Costs.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Significant professional experience in civil engineering, specifically within large-scale industrial or power plant projects (EPC environment preferred). Min 5 years, ideally 10 years.
  • Demonstrated experience in reviewing civil design packages and managing engineering subcontractors. Engineering Contract amount around 1MUSD
  • Ability to travel to international construction sites and work effectively in a hybrid/home-office environment.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence multidisciplinary global teams.
  • Proven problem-solving skills in a fast-paced construction and engineering environment.
