  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Advanced C/C++ programming skills.
    • In-depth understanding of microprocessor architectures.
    • Hands-on experience with preemptive, multitasking Real-Time Operating Systems ( RTOS), with a strong preference for QNX
  • Methodologies: Proven experience in Agile development environments and automated unit testing for C/C++.
  • Toolsets: Proficiency in software configuration management tools, defect tracking systems, and peer-review processes.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of working effectively in global, multi-functional teams.

Desired Characteristics

  • Domain Expertise: Direct experience with MarkVIe control systems firmware development.
  • Protocol Knowledge: Experience working with industrial communication protocols (e.g., MODBUS, Profibus, Profinet, Foundation Fieldbus, CAN, Industrial Ethernet).
  • Security Mindset: Knowledge of secure software design and cybersecurity practices for industrial control systems.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading global programs and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Versatility: Exposure to C# development for tooling or utility applications is a strong plus.
  • Initiative: A self-starter mindset with the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional technical challenges autonomously.
