
Responsibilities
• Work closely with the Senior Manager and the Employer Portal Manager on a day-to-day basis
• Works closely with the Employer Portal Manager and Employer Services Specialists to achieve the department goals and objectives
• Serves as a bridge between the Employer Portal Manager and the Employer Services Specialists; while providing support, promoting a positive work culture, and facilitating success at the employer, member, and organizational level
• Ensure all Employers in all Funds are trained and onboarded on the Employer Portal (Inclusive of non-benefit fund employers); employers retrained regarding enhancements and changes; payrolls, add/drop files, HC premiums, payroll file configuration, employment events; credits, new employers/member population updates are coordinated with appropriate departments and ensure all inquiries/issues are researched and brought to resolution
• Identify Employers who will need additional training in areas such as payroll file upload, payroll adjustments, and employment events
• Work with the Employer Portal Manager on training plans for current Portal Specialists, new hires and refresher trainings
• Conduct trainings via Zoom, MS Teams or WebEx (at employer’s request), conduct team training in person as needed
• Responsible for payroll adjustments/corrections, Review and release of the Home Care monthly statements and Add/Drop file processing
• Assist in managing Service Now, email and telephone inquiries
• Assisting with quality review of daily Portal data/reports and all employers accounts
• Assisting with V3locity testing, comparison, and transition
• Identify future Portal enhancements needed based on employer interaction and process improvement.
• Work closely with the Employer Portal Manager to Research and resolve payment inquiries and complex issues related to portal payments
• Respond to payroll file research requests, and Pension inquires for current and former members
• Assist team members with payroll file research to ensure all issues are resolved timely, and potential gaps in
processes are identified & reported
• Review CBA compliance during on-boarding; evaluate monthly payroll reports and work with employers where necessary to bring into compliance; educate employers regarding Fund rules – including CBA and Eligibility compliance
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or equivalent years of work experience required
• Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience to include one (1) years supervisory experience and a minimum of one (1) year database management required
• Knowledge of Taft-Hartley Funds preferred
• Prior experience with payroll procedures and formatting
• Knowledge of the Employer Portal functionality, processes, and integration into V3/V3locity
• Knowledge of the V3 system, Microsoft Office, Access and Fund policies and procedures
• Knowledge of contract review and rate structure
