  • Conduct field service calls for emergency and scheduled maintenance.

  • Travel to customer sites including vessels, terminals, and shipyards.

Diagnostics & System Integration

  • Use diagnostic tools, meters, and software interfaces to identify root causes and implement solutions.

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.

  • Support integration of electronic control modules and data/communication hardware.

Customer Interaction

  • Communicate clearly with vessel crews and operations teams to understand issues and deliver solutions.

  • Document service reports, parts usage, system readings, and corrective actions.

  • Maintain a professional, safety-oriented presence while representing the service team.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all marine and industrial safety protocols while working on vessels and in hazardous environments.

  • Ensure all installations meet required standards and specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in electronics, electrical systems, instrumentation, automation, or marine controls.

  • Strong troubleshooting ability with sensors, alarms, wiring, control circuits, or measurement equipment.

  • Comfortable working on marine vessels, terminals, or industrial sites.

  • Ability to work on-call and travel on short notice.

  • Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and schematics.

  • Valid driver’s license; able to pass required screenings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience servicing electronics or instrumentation in marine environments (barges, tankers, towboats, etc.).

  • Background with tank-level measurement systems, alarm panels, or monitoring/control equipment.

  • Familiarity with basic networking or communication protocols used in electronic systems.

  • Prior field service experience in industrial, marine, or offshore settings.

Ideal Candidate Traits

  • Hands-on and mechanically/electrically inclined

  • Self-directed in the field with strong follow-through

  • Clear communicator with customer-facing professionalism

  • Safety-focused and detail-oriented
