Lead Electricians

to join our growing team on projects along the
​Space Coast of

Florida

. The ideal candidate is a skilled
commercial electrical professional with proven field leadership experience, a
strong commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to effectively lead
crews while maintaining project schedules and customer satisfaction.


Position
Summary:


The Lead
Electrician is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily
electrical installation activities in the field while actively performing
electrical work. This individual serves as a working leader who provides
direction to Journeyman Electricians and Apprentices, ensures adherence to
project schedules, maintains high-quality workmanship, and promotes a culture
of safety, accountability, and teamwork.


Essential Functions:


  • ·

    Lead
    and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews on commercial construction
    projects.

    ·

    Plan
    work assignments and ensure labor, materials, tools, and equipment are utilized
    efficiently.

    ·

    Install,
    maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems in accordance with the
    National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and project specifications.

    ·

    Read
    and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, electrical schematics,
    specifications, and construction documents.

    ·

    Install
    conduit systems including EMT, Rigid, PVC, MC Cable, and associated raceway
    systems.

    ·

    Install,
    terminate, and troubleshoot electrical equipment including switchgear, panels,
    transformers, lighting systems, controls, and power distribution equipment.

    ·

    Perform
    electrical testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and startup activities.

    ·

    Coordinate
    work activities with Project Managers, Foremen, Superintendents, inspectors,
    vendors, subcontractors, and other trades.

    ·

    Monitor
    project progress and proactively identify scheduling conflicts, material
    shortages, or field issues.

    ·

    Ensure
    all installations meet RANDALL quality standards and project specifications.

    ·

    Mentor
    and train Journeyman Electricians and Apprentices on proper installation
    techniques, productivity expectations, and safe work practices.

    ·

    Conduct
    daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements.

    ·

    Utilize
    company technology to document field progress, complete reports, track
    productivity, and communicate project updates.

    ·

    Maintain
    clean, organized, and safe job sites.

    ·

    Represent
    RANDALL professionally with customers, inspectors, owners, contractors, and
    team members.

    ·

    Promote
    a positive team culture focused on excellence, accountability, and continuous
    improvement.


Desired Qualification Requirements and
Attributes

:


  • ·

    Journeyman
    Electrician License (where required) or equivalent verifiable experience.

    ·

    Minimum
    of

    7+ years of commercial electrical experience

    , including demonstrated
    leadership or crew supervision experience.

    ·

    Proven
    ability to lead field personnel, coordinate workflow, and maintain project
    productivity.

    ·

    Thorough
    knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local building
    codes.

    ·

    Strong
    understanding of commercial electrical construction methods, means, and best
    practices.

    ·

    Ability
    to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, one-line
    diagrams, and electrical schematics.

    ·

    Experience
    coordinating manpower, scheduling work activities, and managing field
    productivity.

    ·

    Proficient
    with tablets, smartphones, and construction management software for reporting,
    documentation, and communication.

    ·

    Strong
    troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

    ·

    Excellent
    verbal and written communication skills.

    ·

    Ability
    to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction
    environment.

    id
    driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

    ·

    Ability
    to pass all required pre-employment screenings, including background check and
    drug screening.

    ·

    OSHA
    30 Certification preferred.

    ·

    CPR/First
    Aid Certification preferred.

    ·

    Experience
    working on healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, industrial,
    aviation, or large commercial construction projects.

    ·

    Experience
    operating aerial lifts, forklifts, and other construction equipment.

    ·

    Demonstrated
    ability to mentor and develop team members.

    ·

    Strong
    organizational, leadership, and time-management skills.

    ·

    High
    level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.

    ·

    Customer-focused
    mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional project results.


Physical Requirements:


This
is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job.

You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50
pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time.

You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and
lift as required by the job

, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see
and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective
gear.
