Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design electrical drawings including single-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams for battery storage systems, including MV/HV
• Expertise in electrical system design, system studies, relay coordination, protection & control, grounding practices, HV and LV design.
• Component selection and Carry out background calculations for sizing and rating.
• Perform electrical calculations including load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination.
• Select and specify electrical components such as transformers, switchgear, inverters, and protection devices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrated system design.
• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of BESS systems.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and drawings for project execution.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in energy storage systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8 to 10 years of experience in electrical design for power systems or renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of battery technologies, power electronics, and grid integration.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (ETAP, AutoCAD, MATLAB, etc.).
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and communication protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
