
The Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible for overseeing all electrical engineering activities within a major energy infrastructure project, ensuring alignment with project specifications, internal standards, and international regulations. The role involves managing contractor deliverables, supporting procurement processes, and coordinating across multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee electrical engineering design and contractor deliverables
Ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards
Review and approve technical documentation
Support equipment procurement and project delivery objectives
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (safety, construction, operations, commissioning)
Monitor progress, identify risks, and report to project leadership
Ensure adherence to HSE requirements
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering
Extensive experience in electrical engineering on major projects
Strong knowledge of international electrical standards
Experience across full project lifecycle (design to commissioning)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English
Location & Travel:
Office-based role with periodic international travel
