Job Title - Lead Electrical Design Engineer โ€“ Control Panel

Purpose of the Role

The Lead Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and engineering of MCC, PCC, and control panels. The role involves ensuring design quality, adherence to standards, and timely delivery while guiding a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

ยท Lead design of MCC, PCC, and control panels as per project requirements

ยท Review electrical schematics, GA drawings, and BOMs

ยท Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, IEEE standards

ยท Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams

ยท Provide technical guidance to junior engineers

ยท Interact with clients for design approvals and clarifications

ยท Drive cost optimization and design standardization

ยท Support testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning

Key Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

ยท Strong knowledge of MCC, PCC, and control panel design

ยท Expertise in schematics and power distribution systems

ยท Proficiency in AutoCAD / EPLAN

ยท Knowledge of protection systems and switchgear

ยท Familiarity with IEC / IS standards

Educational Qualification

Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
