Lead Early Preschool Teacher (2½–3 Year Old Classroom)

Location: The Learning Experience – Manassas City, VA
Pay: $17–$19 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

About the Role


The Learning Experience – Manassas City is seeking a confident and nurturing Lead Early Preschool Teacher to guide our 2½–3 year old classroom. This role bridges the transition from toddler learning into preschool readiness and focuses on building independence, communication skills, and structured classroom routines. ✨

This is an ideal position for an educator who enjoys supporting potty training, early academics, and social development in a purposeful learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2½–3 year old classroom in a safe, structured setting
• Implement early pre-preschool learning experiences aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
• Support language development, social interaction, and classroom independence
• Guide toileting routines and daily transitions
• Maintain organized classroom structure and expectations
• Communicate regularly with families about progress and routines
• Support assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency
• Follow Virginia licensing and safety standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Childcare or preschool classroom experience required
• Experience with children ages 2–3 strongly preferred
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
