Job Title: Lead Dietary Aide
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Day - 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm (with every other weekend commitment)
Location: St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA
Position Purpose:
The Lead Dietary Aide is responsible for critical kitchen operations for the hospital's Food & Nutrition department.
As an “ Lead Dietary Aide” you will:
Responsible for oversight of trayline accuracy
Responsible for taking patient meal orders in the call center
Completing daily temperature logs
Printing and reviewing essential operational reports
The position also entails support to the management team and colleague oversight, with supervisory functions, such as cash handling, register reconciliation, audits, scheduling, and HACCP compliance.
This position acts in a supervisory capacity, in the absence of the retail management.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring patient satisfaction and compliance with food safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)
2 to 4 years of prior Dietary Aide/Food Service experience in a healthcare setting required
Management experience preferred
