Constellis is hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer to lead a team of focused towards strengthening our platform delivery and ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and scaling of LEXSO across government and commercial environments. In this role, you will have the ability to:

- Lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team delivering real-world impact.
- Contribute to protecting US government and commercial assets with cutting-edge technology.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role — equal parts architect, mentor, and builder.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the DevOps Engineering team to design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across staging, test, and production environments.
- Lead technical decisions to mananage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for LEXSO’s real-time, sensor-driven workloads.
- Containerize services using Docker (or Podman) and manage registries.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent) for repeatable, scalable deployments.
- Maintain secure version control practices (Git, GitHub, GitLab, or equivalent).
- Configure, maintain, and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems.
- Represent DevOps Engineers in cross-team technical discussions with developers, data scientists, and sensor integration teams to accelerate feature delivery and ensure resilience in operational deployments.
- Support compliance with DoD cybersecurity and cloud security standards where applicable.
- Mentor DevOps Engineers and set development best practices
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or cloud engineering
- 10 years of experience managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Scripting in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Kubernetes experience (explicit, production-level)
- Containerization experience with Docker or Podman (explicit, production-level)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
- Experience using Git or equivalent version control systems
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident response workflows
- Ability to attain a Secret Clearance
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Nvidia GPU toolkits, or broader DevOps toolchains
- Monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk and/or CloudWatch

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
