We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Lead Development Representative (LDR) to join our commercial team and support the growth of our business by identifying and qualifying new opportunities. In this role, you will engage with prospective customers, understand their business needs, and connect them with the appropriate sales professionals. You will play a critical role in building relationships with potential clients, generating interest in UL Solutions' services, and helping drive new business growth.

• Receives inbound Key+ tier leads and establishes relationships to qualify and facilitate customer introductions to UL sellers.
• Networks to make new business contacts using market research, web-based tools, and social media; follows the standard operating procedures and approaches contacts via electronic communication methods (email, phone, video, etc. ).
• Understands customer needs and can identify potential opportunities for UL to provide value. Ensures smooth handoffs to sellers to maximize conversion of lead to sale.
• Works under moderate level of supervision to qualify inbound and outbound leads generated by multiple channels (e.g. marketing, customer outreach, Field Engineers, etc.) to ensure prospect meets a defined set of criteria.
• Follows leads through beginning of sales cycle, handing off qualified leads to the appropriate salesperson, tracking leads through sales cycle, and ensuring lead follow-up.
• Provides inbound and outbound lead generation and qualification for Account Executives (AEs) with which they are aligned in order to support Key+ new logo acquisition.
• Provides inbound and outbound lead qualification support for existing accounts in the Key+ tiers; routes additional qualified inbound leads to appropriate sellers in the Commercial and SMB tiers.
• Collaborates with account teams to understand and build optimal lead pipeline and more efficiently qualify and identify high-potential leads from existing accounts.

• Recent graduates or candidates with 2-3 years of industry experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage a high volume of prospective customers daily.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to learn and develop a career in sales.
• A collaborative mindset and eagerness to work closely with sales and account teams.
• Familiarity with Lead Development Representative (LDR) or Sales Development Representative (SDR) activities is beneficial.
• Interest in hardware technology is preferred.

The salary range for this position is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience. This position is eligible for additional sales incentive with a target payout of 20% of base salary.
