Lead Detailer

Pay:$3,500.00 - $7,000.00/monthly (Flat Rate Hourly - Based on Performance)

Schedule:Full-time

Anaheim Hyundai, part of the Lithia & Driveway family, is excited to announce the launch of our brand-new detail department. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Detailer to help build, lead, and grow this new operation from the ground up. Responsibilities

  • Produce billable labor on vehicles brought into the Service Department for detailing
  • Meet with the Service Manager at least once a week to review performance and goals
  • Lead recruiting, training, and development of the detail staff
  • Engage with customers to ensure high satisfaction and quality service
  • Develop and execute a monthly production plan
  • Ensure all manufacturer and dealership policies and procedures are followed
  • Inspect and maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of all service areas
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal OSHA safety regulations
  • Report any safety, operational, or integrity concerns to management immediately
  • Perform administrative functions related to department operations

Qualifications

  • Strong teaching ability – capable of training team members on processes and best practices
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proven time management skills – able to manage personal workload and team productivity
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

The estimated monthly earning range for this position is $3,500.00 to $7,000.00, which includes commissions on (Commissions –Ex: “Individual Sales and/or Individual Gross Profit”, “Department Net”) and/or bonus opportunities such as (Bonuses –Ex: “Parts Gross Achievement, Manufacturer Approvability”).

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, as well as a variety of other benefits, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
