The Lead Designer role at Avalere Health is the day-to-day creative lead across projects and accounts, responsible for shaping high-quality, strategically effective design solutions across print, digital, social, presentation, and emerging channels. Working closely with writers, strategists, client services, studio and production teams, the Lead Designer guides creative development from brief through execution, ensuring work is cohesive, brand-aligned, and impactful.
Proven experience leading design projects from initial brief through to final delivery, bringing strong conceptual thinking and art direction expertise.
A standout integrated portfolio showcasing work across digital, print, social media, presentations, and multi-channel campaigns within an agency environment.
Confidence building relationships with clients and stakeholders, presenting creative ideas and influencing decisions through strategic and compelling design solutions.
Ability to transform complex information into engaging and impactful visual communications, ideally within healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
Experience creating design systems, templates, toolkits, and scalable creative frameworks that drive consistency, efficiency, and quality.
Excellent collaboration skills, with a track record of partnering effectively with strategists, copywriters, client services, digital, production, and studio teams to deliver exceptional creative work.
