The Goddard School of Long Hill is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Infant-Toddler Classroom Teacher to join our outstanding team of early childhood educators.

Key Responsibilities: As a early childhood education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing, safe and stimulating classroom environment, and collaborating with other staff to enhance our curriculum and learning experiences.

• Create and maintain a warm, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with your team to implement engaging, play-based activities that grow language, motor, and sensory skills.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.
• Monitor developmental milestones and communicate progress with families through daily reports and parent conferences.
• Document learning and milestones; celebrate progress.
• Maintain compliance with Goddard, state licensing, and NAEYC standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in early childhood education center or daycare setting.
• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of child development and best practices in infant care
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• A warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to developing young minds.
