We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to contribute to our next level of growth and expansion.

What is this position about?

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive strategic analytics initiatives, influence business decisions, and lead complex data science projects across marketplace and product domains. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to leverage AI, advanced analytics, and scalable data solutions to create measurable business impact.

• Lead the design and execution of advanced analytics and data science initiatives.
• Define and govern KPI frameworks that support strategic business objectives.
• Drive marketplace analytics and product analytics efforts across multiple business areas.
• Develop scalable analytical solutions using Python, SQL, GCP, and AI-powered technologies.
• Oversee reporting ecosystems, dashboards, and data pipeline operations.
• Partner with senior business leaders to identify opportunities and prioritize analytical initiatives.
• Translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders.
• Guide teams in the application of best practices for analytics, experimentation, and data-driven decision making.
• Drive automation and process optimization through AI-enabled solutions.
• Manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Influence strategic decisions through quantitative analysis and business storytelling.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Python for advanced analytics, machine learning, and data science applications.
• Strong SQL expertise with experience analyzing large-scale datasets.
• Advanced Excel and executive reporting capabilities.
• Experience with Tableau or equivalent reporting and visualization platforms.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience managing reporting pipelines and analytical operations.
• Deep understanding of marketplace analytics and product analytics.
• Proven experience leading large-scale analytical initiatives and influencing business strategy.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive-level communication.
• Demonstrated experience implementing AI solutions and integrating AI into business processes.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, shifting priorities, and demanding stakeholder environments.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

What about languages?

• Advanced/Fluent English.
• Comfortable presenting complex technical concepts to executive and business stakeholders.
