Lead CT Technologist

Baptist Health Imaging, where compassionate care meets advanced imaging and treatment. Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound. Our team works closely with other departments such as surgery and oncology to provide the best care for all patients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively plans and executes daily patient flow and staff schedule.

  • Assist CT Coordinator with staff selection, training, and competency.

  • Assists Radiologists and management with establishing protocols.

  • Produce quality images for Radiologist’s review.

  • Send images to tele-radiology service after hours as requested.

  • Maintains and/or develops scanning protocols with CT Coordinator and Radiologist.

  • Works with CT Coordinator and Radiologist on ACR accreditation as needed.

  • Assists CT Coordinator, Radiology Manager, and Radiology Director in equipment and software
    selections.

  • Manages physical and financial resources within established guidelines. Includes monitoring
    supply inventory, assuring equipment properly maintained and proposal for budgeting items
    related to CT.

  • Performs and documents peripheral venipuncture when necessary for exams.

Shift: Full Time, Days

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology

  • Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry

  • Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy

  • Advanced ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography required within one (1) year of hire

  • 3 Years of related experience

  • Current BLS Certification
