The Lead CT Technologist is a key member of the Medical Imaging Leadership Team, partnering with clinical and operational leaders to advance patient care, employee engagement, and department performance. This role serves as the technical supervisor for the modality and is responsible for assisting the Department Manager in assuring compliance with Joint Commission accreditation standards, State and Federal regulations, as well as American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.) requirements.
The Lead CT Technologist supports the Radiology Manager in ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing workflows, managing staffing needs, and maintaining equipment and supply readiness. This role combines clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient diagnostic imaging services.
In addition to leadership duties, the Lead CT Technologist performs a wide range of CT procedures, producing high-quality diagnostic images and collaborating closely with radiologists and care teams to support accurate and timely diagnoses.
