About the Role
The Lead Cost Controller is a senior professional within the Cost discipline of the Project Management job family. This role is responsible for the full administration and oversight of cost‑control processes for each EMP, ensuring effective governance throughout the maintenance period lifecycle and the broader maintenance program.
You will oversee all processes related to project cost management, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable financial information flows into the business. This includes managing the administration and communication of cost data, maintaining alignment across ERP systems, schedules, and project control registers, and ensuring the reporting suite reflects the full project lifecycle from initiation through to close‑out.
This position requires deep technical expertise, extensive experience, and the ability to independently deliver complex, non‑routine assignments. As a senior member of the team, you will also provide leadership, guidance, and support to more junior cost‑control professionals, helping to build capability and consistency across the function.
You will be based at the iconic Australian Marine Complex based in Henderson, and on Garden Island, WA.
About you
You will have a related bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, finance, business, engineering, or construction management, plus additional experience in project management or supply chain management. Experience with Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management or Certification in Project Management are essential for this opportunity.
