As a Lead Controllership Analyst, you will own the end-to-end controllership function, ensuring that financial close, reporting, and governance processes meet the highest global standards. Your work directly supports GE Vernova's mission to electrify and decarbonise the world — and the integrity of the numbers you produce matters.
Key Responsibilities
Lead regional period-end financial close and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in line with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and GE Vernova accounting policies.
Oversee regional balance sheet reviews, the account reconciliation cycle, and the representation letter process — partnering closely with business finance leaders and the headquarters controllership team.
Drive governance, risk, and internal control activities, including policy deployment, control design, and remediation of audit findings.
Provide end-to-end controllership support to business units within scope, ensuring consistent adherence to accounting policies and compliance standards across the region.
Partner with headquarters on enterprise-wide initiatives including financial reviews, Balance Sheet Reviews (BSR), and cash flow analysis.
Lead accounting and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system setups, configurations, and enhancements in collaboration with IT and Digital teams.
About You
You are a technically strong finance professional with a proven track record in controllership within large, global organisations. You bring precision, cross-cultural communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
Professional accounting qualification such as CA (Chartered Accountant), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), or equivalent.
Proven experience in controllership, accounting, or financial reporting within a large, global organisation.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, and financial close processes.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a matrixed, multinational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within shared services or outsourced finance delivery models.
Hands-on experience with ERP system implementations or finance process transformation initiatives.
