Lead Continuous Improvement

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As a consultant and facilitator to challenge teams to enhance the performance of their processes.
  • Works as a process transformation expert identifying opportunities to partner with leadership in support of the organization's business goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate, track, and provide status updates on the continuous improvement projects and assesses progress and establishes cadence reporting on CI performance goals.
  • Support and communicate issues that can affect our CI roadmap.
  • Support business units with ongoing CI projects by guiding the CI teams on the organization given strategies to enhance process effectiveness.
  • Acts as a support to the business unit, in service provider role.
  • Relationships are intra- and inter-organizational.
  • The ability to communicate with all levels of leadership and employees, peers, customers, suppliers, academicians, external entities on a global basis is key.
  • Responds to manufacturing and department managers to enhance productivity.
  • Functions as an advisor regarding tasks, projects, and operations.
  • Interprets and direct the CI teams to follow the organization policies, procedures, process improvements and control initiatives within domain of the CI project.
  • Implements analytical methodologies, including survey and analysis techniques of processes and best practices. Maintains initiative alignment with business vision strategy and deployment within the company.
  • Leverages continuous improvement tools, computer system capabilities, business processes and workflows.
  • Applies business process knowledge to assigned domains to drive continuous improvement projects. Domains may include production, information delivery, inventory control, distribution, cost analysis, finance, human resources, business problems and technical problems.

  • Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing Process Improvement tools
  • VSM development knowledge
  • 8D/DMAIC/5W knowledge
  • 5’s+1 system knowledge
  • Production lines balance analysis
  • Expertise of safety protocols application
  • JSA developer
  • Layout design tools (CAD files and software) administrator
  • Kaizen culture oriented
  • Projects management skills demonstrable
  • Fast response to project follows up and execution
  • Projects Dashboards control and administration

EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

  • 7+ years’ experience in CI projects coordination demonstrable
  • 7+ years’ experience as engineering team leader.
  • 6 sigma Black belt certified. (Master Black belt is desirable)
  • 6 sigma Lean Manufacturing certified
  • Statistical data analysis experience is a must.

EDUCATION:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Industrial engineering)

Desirable:

  • Master in Process / Quality improvement desirable.
