Role Summary

The CI/CD Test Engineer is responsible for validating and assuring the quality, integrity, and reliability of deployments across Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE & F&O), Azure integration services, and associated platforms. The role focuses on testing pipelines, release validation, and automated quality assurance to ensure all deployments meet functional and non-functional requirements before release.

Key Responsibilities

Deployment Validation & Release QA:

• Perform post-deployment verification and smoke testing across environments
• Validate configuration, environment variables, and deployed components
• Support release readiness and QA sign-off

CI/CD Pipeline Testing:

• Validate pipeline execution and quality gates
• Investigate pipeline failures and analyse results

Dynamics 365 CE Testing:

• Test solution deployments and Dataverse components
• Perform regression and integration testing

Dynamics 365 F&O Testing:

• Validate deployable packages and releases using RSAT
• Perform business process and data validation

Azure Integration Testing:

• Test Logic Apps, Functions, APIM, and Service Bus integrations
• Validate end-to-end data flows and APIs

Automated Testing:

• Configure and execute automated tests within pipelines
• Maintain regression test suites

Defect Management:

• Log and track defects
• Provide QA reporting and release validation

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop And Deliver Detailed Financial Solutions By Utilizing D365 Finance And Supply Chain Management Tools To Meet Specific Client Requirements During Consulting Project Activities.
2. Perform Qualitative And Quantitative Analyses Using Advanced Data Modeling Techniques To Identify Client Issues And Formulate Tailored, Effective Solutions.
3. Coordinate With Internal And External Stakeholders, Facilitating Discussions And Ensuring The Effective Delivery Of Client-Specific Solutions Through D365 Implementations.
4. Design, Structure, And Deliver Comprehensive Reports And Presentations Using Tools Such As Power Bi, Ensuring They Align With The Audience'S Needs And The Project'S Objectives.
5. Cultivate Successful Customer Relationships By Providing Expert Guidance And Support Throughout The Project Lifecycle, Enhancing Client Satisfaction And Loyalty.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong QA and testing experience (functional, regression, integration)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)
• D365 CE and F&O testing experience
• Azure integration testing experience
• Test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro, RSAT)
• Basic scripting (PowerShell preferred)

Desirable Skills

• Experience with SALi or similar automation platforms
• Exposure to enterprise D365 programmes
• Knowledge of performance testing
• Certifications such as ISTQB or AZ-400

Success Measures
