Wells Fargo India & Philippines is a critical component of Wells Fargo’s strategy to leverage distinct advantages in doing business in a global environment. Wells Fargo India & Philippines is primarily an extension of the technology, operations, and corporate support teams of Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo is seeking a Communications Manager (Lead Communications Consultant), based in our Taguig City, Manila office, to take on a broad remit spanning both internal and external communications. Reporting to the Director of Communications, India and the Philippines, you will be part of a team housed within the Public Affairs function, and responsible for comms strategy, organizational change, issues and crisis management, executive communications, and strengthening Wells Fargo's reputation as an employer of choice.
A key part of this will be driving executive communications for our Philippines Site Lead, helping strengthen their leadership profile within the organization as well as in the external ecosystem. In order to achieve this, you will work closely with leaders and partners across Public Affairs and the broader organization.
The role calls for someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution: advising senior leaders, developing compelling narratives, engaging employees, identifying external opportunities, managing sensitive issues, and translating enterprise priorities into communications that are relevant and meaningful in the Philippines. Beyond producing content, we're looking for someone who asks the right questions, understands the business objective behind a communications request, and provides confident and thoughtful counsel.
You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, while knowing when an issue requires broader consultation or escalation. You will also have a risk-literate mindset, and demonstrable crisis management experience.
