About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist with Commercial Banking Operations - Customer Care.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a variety of servicing activities for the complex commercial products
  • Serve as primary liaison and work collaboratively with Sales, Legal, Control and Risk, Technology, and various Operations and company teams as necessary to progress customer-focused needs
  • Evaluate risks, and devise strategies to mitigate risks and identify procedural modifications
  • Conduct quality reviews and monitor key performance metrics as related to efficiencies and effective processes
  • Coordinate servicing activities to resolve open customer issues, loan and regulatory diligence and on-going portfolio maintenance; interact with internal and external customers
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals; may contribute to strategic initiatives and projects
  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience Commercial Banking Lines of Business including Equipment & Vendor Finance, Inventory Finance, Market Coverage and Specialized Industries
  • Familiar with equipment and vendor finance systems like InfoLease and LoanIQ
  • Ability to coordinate, lead and facilitate group meetings
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management and implementation
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to evaluate data, derive conclusions, identify trending, summarizing and turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations
  • Ability to prepare presentations, management reporting, and statistical analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills


Job expectations:

  • This is a Hybrid position which requires 3 days in office and 2 remote (Wednesday is a mandatory in office day)
  • The successful candidate must be available to work Monday through Friday; between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed.
  • Required location listed below.
  • Travel may be required 1-2 times annually
