About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Banking Relationship Manager for clients with annual revenue of $25MM to $100MM supporting the Colorado market as part of the Commercial Bank. Learn more about career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com


In this role, you will:

  • Cultivate and expand complex client relationships across Colorado, serving as a trusted advisor and translating client priorities into forward-looking, data-driven strategies that influence key decision-makers.
  • Partner with senior leaders on the structuring, renewal, and optimization of sophisticated credit solutions (cash flow, working capital, real estate, and industry-specific), providing analysis, shaping deal strategy, and coordinating cross-functional execution.
  • Partner with Business Development Officers to originate new opportunities, leveraging established networks and industry relationships to expand market presence and accelerate growth.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to inform credit strategy and innovation, aligning solutions to evolving client needs and driving competitive differentiation.
  • Lead enterprise-wide solutioning by aligning Wells Fargo’s full suite of capabilities to client strategies, partnering across product and functional teams to deliver integrated outcomes.
  • Provide strategic direction and subject matter expertise to leadership on high-impact initiatives, shaping cross-functional efforts that enhance client delivery and long-term growth.
  • Strengthen enterprise execution by enhancing processes, managing risk, and resolving complex client issues, while serving as a senior representative in the market and mentoring emerging talent.
  • Oversee relationship planning and pipeline management, ensuring disciplined execution, accurate forecasting, and insight-driven reporting.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of core commercial banking solutions, including complex commercial lending structures, treasury management platforms, and integrated financial services that support commercial clients
  • Established history of driving new business growth, including sourcing, securing, and expanding long‑term client relationships through strategic engagement and deep market knowledge specific to competitive dynamics in Colorado
  • Completion of a formal credit training program, demonstrating advanced proficiency in credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and deal structuring
  • Demonstrated ability to balance credit fundamentals with effective relationship management, including growing existing client portfolios while originating and developing new relationships
  • Established professional network across the Colorado market, with demonstrated ability to convert market connectivity into new relationship opportunities
  • Proven history managing high‑value commercial relationships within the $25MM to $100MM revenue segment, consistently delivering strategic advice and tailored financial solutions to sophisticated clients
  • Proven ability to collaborate across the enterprise, effectively mobilizing cross-functional partners to deliver a unified, client-centric experience that strengthens institutional relationships
  • Strong capability in cultivating and sustaining executive-level internal and external partnerships, leveraging influence, credibility, and industry networks to advance business objectives
  • Expertise in identifying, mitigating, and escalating risks, ensuring full adherence to compliance expectations, operational controls, and enterprise-wide governance standards
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal skills that effectively engage senior leadership, clients, and external stakeholders


Job Expectations:

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$153,000.00 - $239,000.00
