The Lead Collections Representative will oversee the collection of all retail loans, including mortgage loans, consumer loans, and indirect loans. This role is essential in maintaining the financial health of the bank and ensuring that all collection activities are handled with professionalism, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. This position manages delinquent accounts, guides borrowers through repayment solutions, and ensures adherence to Freddie Mac, secondary market, and internal bank guidelines. This role also takes the lead on loan relief requests, including modifications, forbearances, and deferrals, ensuring each is processed with diligence and care.
This role includes supervisory responsibilities, reporting duties, and oversight of OREO/OPP processes, bankruptcies, and legal invoice review. This position is a key resource for both customers and internal partners, helping maintain strong portfolio performance and supporting the bank’s commitment to integrity and accountability.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; relevant post‑secondary education preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of prior collection experience, including experience in the financial services industry
- General banking knowledge and familiarity with retail loan products
- Proficiency with PC applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and calculators
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to remain confident under pressure

Compensation and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.61 to $38.26 per hour, contingent on relevant skills, training, experience, education and other job-related factors permitted by law.
