Lead Cloud Engineer (Azure & AWS) with Terraform with Devops

About the team

The FIS Public Cloud Operations team at FIS provides support for cloud deployed environments within Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS and Google Cloud. FIS’s burgeoning maturity in the cloud space will drive shorter time to market solutions which in turn will meet customer expectations around services provided by FIS throughout the world. We are looking for a talented resource, who is comfortable working multiple appropriately prioritized issues and/or projects at a time. One who desires to be a part of this global dynamic operations team where they will grow personally, technically and professionally.

What you will be doing:

• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time and form of desired results.
• Influences business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection and/or vendor selection.
• Identifies and documents technical strategies, objectives and drivers.

What you bring:

• 6 to 10 Years of Experience as Cloud Engineer
• Strong expertise across Azure, and AWS with deep knowledge of public cloud infrastructure, cloud platform operations, and end‑to‑end problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience in cloud services deployment using TFE with strong module design knowledge, DevOps practices, and automation capabilities.
• Proven ability in complex problem solving, cloud networking, and handling high‑severity technical escalations, with strong analytical skills, cost optimization focus, and mentoring teams on technical best practices.
