Lead a Well-Run Kitchen Without the Pressure of a Large Team

Are you an experienced chef who takes pride in maintaining high standards, keeping things organised, and creating a smooth-running kitchen? We're looking for a Lead Chef to take ownership of our back of house operation and help drive a positive, supportive kitchen culture.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on in the kitchen while leading a small team, maintaining excellent food safety standards, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork behind the scenes.

What You'll Be Doing

✅ Leading all aspects of kitchen compliance, including food safety, allergens, cleanliness, documentation, and EHO standards

✅ Ensuring legal and company food hygiene procedures are followed at all times

✅ Supporting food preparation and service during busy periods

✅ Managing ordering, stock control, and reducing waste

✅ Coaching and supporting a small kitchen team, including 1 Chef and 3 Kitchen Assistants/Porters

✅ Creating a well-organised, positive, and efficient working environment

What We're Looking For

✔ Experience working in a professional kitchen, with responsibility for daily operations or supporting others

✔ Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management

✔ Confidence completing kitchen paperwork and maintaining compliance records

✔ A proactive, dependable approach and great attention to detail

✔ Someone who leads by example and enjoys helping others succeed

✔ A calm, organised problem-solver who takes pride in delivering high standards
