BAYADA is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Lead Caregiver to support clients receiving in-home care throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. This role combines hands-on caregiving, peer mentorship, client advocacy, and field-based support to help ensure that clients receive reliable, high-quality care in the comfort of their homes.
The Lead Caregiver serves as a trusted resource for clients, families, caregivers, and the office team. In addition to providing direct care, this role helps orient and support caregivers, reinforces service expectations, communicates important client updates, and helps address concerns before they become larger issues. The ideal candidate leads by example, brings sound judgment to each situation, and approaches every interaction with patience, professionalism, and genuine compassion.
You are compassionate, dependable, and comfortable serving as a steady presence for clients and caregivers. You lead by example, communicate clearly, and treat every person with dignity and respect. You are organized, attentive to detail, and able to balance hands-on care with field support and follow-through. You approach challenges with curiosity and practical judgment, know when to act independently, and recognize when to collaborate or escalate a concern.
Success in this role means helping clients feel safe, respected, and supported; strengthening caregiver confidence; promoting consistent service quality; and ensuring that important information reaches the right members of the care team. Through reliable hands-on care and positive peer leadership, the Lead Caregiver helps BAYADA deliver compassionate, dependable support throughout the community.
A structured 30-day training and ramp-up period will help you learn the office’s processes, service expectations, client needs, documentation requirements, and team workflows. You will work closely with office leadership and key partners as you build confidence in the field and become an effective resource for clients, families, and caregivers.
At BAYADA, every interaction is an opportunity to bring comfort, confidence, and meaningful support to people and families. In this role, your compassion, caregiving expertise, and leadership by example will help caregivers succeed and help clients receive the dependable care they deserve. You will join a team that values collaboration, accountability, and a shared commitment to excellence in home-based care.
The interview process includes in-person, one-on-one conversations at the office with members of the hiring team.
