Job Description

The Casino Lead Cage Cashier is responsible for accurately handling cash, chips, and coin transactions while providing courteous, professional service to guests. This role ensures compliance with internal controls, IRS regulations, and gaming laws while maintaining balanced cash drawers, completing required documentation, and supporting a secure and positive gaming experience. Cage Cashiers must work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, communicate effectively with guests and team members, and uphold the highest standards of integrity and customer service.

  • Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift. Assuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience
  • Responsible for balancing and reconciling cash drawers daily, ensuring accuracy and compliance while completing currency exchanges with the vault

  • Leading the team in day-to-day operations as directed by supervisor
  • Completing CTRs, W2Gs, and MTLs
  • Maintained strong customer relationships by delivering accurate information, resolving issues, and upholding service standards

  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Must be able to obtain a Nebraska Gaming and Racing License
  • Previous cage cashier or banking experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in English verbal and written
  • Proficient with iOS devices and computers to include Microsoft office products
  • Flexible to work various shifts, days, night weekends, and holidays

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in a cash handling environment encouraged
