ABOUT THE ROLE

The Lead Business Applications Analyst – Voyager will serve as a senior subject matter expert and team lead for Welltower’s Yardi Voyager platform and its associated modules. Positioned between senior analyst and manager levels, this role requires the ability to oversee medium-to-large scale projects, provide advanced troubleshooting, mentor analysts, and ensure alignment of Voyager system workflows with organizational strategy.

The ideal candidate will combine 7–10+ years of Voyager expertise with strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, capable of bridging technical and business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • System Implementation & Optimization
    - Lead and oversee advanced design, configuration, and optimization of Yardi Voyager modules.
    - Ensure integration across property accounting, investment management, and operations.
  • Project Leadership
    - Manage large and complex Voyager projects, ensuring delivery within timelines, budget, and scope.
    - Serve as escalation point for analysts and project issues.
  • Training & Mentorship
    - Develop advanced training programs for Voyager modules.
    - Mentor analysts and senior analysts, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Operational Support & Governance
    - Oversee advanced troubleshooting and ensure resolution of escalated Voyager issues.
    - Lead audits and quality assurance processes tied to Voyager systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    - Partner with leadership and vendors to align Voyager strategies with organizational priorities.
    - Provide detailed reporting and insights to managers and senior leadership.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, real estate, computer science, or related field.
    • Master’s degree preferred.
    • Agile, Six Sigma, or PMP certification strongly preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of professional experience with Yardi Voyager and related modules.
    • 3–5+ years of project leadership or lead analyst experience.
    • Proven ability to implement, optimize, and support Voyager workflows in compliance-driven environments.
    • Experience with modules such as Commercial, Residential, Senior Housing, Payscan, Investment Accounting, Fixed Assets, Construction Manager, and others strongly preferred.
    • Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit practices strongly preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of property accounting, Yardi workflows, and business process design.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor analysts and cross-functional teams.
    • Strong interpersonal, conflict management, and communication skills.
    • Ability to drive change management, user adoption, and governance.
    • Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
