Arthrex is a global medical device company and leader in orthopedics medical education. The Medical Education department based in Naples, Florida is made up of over 20 physicians, physician assistants and other healthcare professionals. Arthrex is actively searching for a Lead Business Analyst to join the Medical Education team. The successful candidate will work alongside a department of expert orthopedic healthcare professionals, world class faculty, and product management.

Main Objective:

As a Lead Business Analyst, you will lead business analysis and project coordination for initiatives across Arthrex’s Medical Education Technology platforms. You will drive the delivery of user-centered solutions by translating business needs into actionable insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This includes facilitating the design and improvement of technology solutions by defining scalable business processes, configuring systems, and optimizing data workflows. Business Analysts act as process architects and solution facilitators, ensuring clarity, alignment, and continuous improvement across internal tools and experiences.

The Lead Business Analyst will direct efforts in the planning, analysis, and execution of business requirements for Arthrex Medical Education programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Medical Education Technology Division and key stakeholders in gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop documentation to support new platform features or updates.
  • Balance business goals with technical feasibility and sustainability in solution design.
  • Create and maintain process diagrams, flowcharts, wireframes, and mockups to communicate system behavior and user flows.
  • Lead with vendor evaluations and third-party tool integrations when introducing new technologies.
  • Continuously improve skills in systems architecture, agile methodologies, and tools such as Intellum and Asana.
  • Lead key projects and critical activities for the Medical Education Technology Division.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
  • Document processes and models to identify potential improvements.
  • Gather and evaluate user feedback post-launch to inform iterative improvements.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge and skills in business analysis, Agile methodologies, and digital workflow documentation.
  • Advanced proficiency with task and collaboration tools (Asana), customer success platforms (Planhat), and learning technologies (Intellum).
  • Advanced understanding of business systems, requirements gathering techniques, and system integration principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, written, and business communication skills.
  • Proven ability to function effectively as a primary contact with internal project teams and external clients with guidance from more senior staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent ability to consistently prioritize and execute multiple concurrent tasks/projects on time and deliver quality results.
  • Excellent ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or similar.
  • IIBA Certifications (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP), or similar, preferred.
  • Technical certifications or professional development related to Project Management, Product Management, Agile, or similar preferred.
  • 5 years of work experience in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
  • Experience with Asana, Jira, Microsoft, and Lucidchart preferred.
  • Experience with building workflows and automations, solutions architecture, agile methodologies, and QA & UAT preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams and subject matter specialists preferred.
  • Experience leading and managing projects preferred.
  • Or a minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst at Arthrex.
