What You'll Do
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations and workflow of the breast imaging department. This role ensures efficient patient flow, appropriate resource utilization, and consistent execution of established imaging standards. The Lead Technologist serves as the primary point of coordination for technologists during daily operations and works closely with the Department Manager, Quality Coordinator, and Lead Interpreting Physician to ensure high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
Requirements
ARRT certification in Mammography (R)(M) required.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in mammography.
Prior experience in a lead or senior technologist role preferred.
Strong understanding of breast imaging workflows, including screening, diagnostic, and interventional procedures.
Demonstrated ability to manage workflow and prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and scheduling systems
