Location: This role will initially be based in Bradford but we’re moving our office to Leeds Valley Park later this year, so you’ll be based there in the future - Hybrid Working (1-2 office a week depending on business needs – Bradford/Leeds)

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

What the Lead Brand Advisor will do:

As Lead Brand Advisor, you’ll be play a vital role in making that happen….

You’ll lead our brand team and in-house studio, combining strong leadership with hands-on expertise. You’ll drive operational excellence through clear processes and effective workflows, ensuring consistently high creative standards and a strong, unified brand across every touchpoint.

Overseeing day-to-day delivery of brand, marketing design and communications, you’ll guide the team to work efficiently and consistently, acting as the go-to for quality control, copy direction and brand sign-off. You’ll champion creativity and innovation, supporting the Brand and Marketing Manager and key stakeholders to prioritise work that delivers business impact.

You’ll also step in for the Brand & Marketing Manager when needed, track performance to drive continuous improvement, and manage agency and supplier relationships to ensure we deliver excellent results consistently.

  • Working closely with our external partners — helping agencies and suppliers deliver great work that’s on brief, on budget and aligned with what we stand for
  • Reporting and insights to drive improvements — looking at what’s working (and what isn’t) so we can keep getting better and making a bigger impact
  • Keeping things clear and accountable with the right brand governance — making sure we’re organised, compliant, using budgets smartly and doing things in a way that works for the business, our customers and the environment

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in brand communications through applying brand and tone of voice guidelines across a range of channels and audiences
  • Experience leading people, with a supportive, motivating style that helps teams grow and do their best work
  • Experience in closely managing workflow and priorities of a busy team week-to-week
  • Confidence creating clear, engaging, customer-focused content — from campaigns to everyday communications — with great writing and editing skills
  • A sharp eye for design and detail, with experience delivering creative work and/or developing brand(s) through collaborating with agencies or in-house teams
  • The ability to stay organised and keep things moving, even when there’s a lot going on — juggling priorities and managing projects with ease
  • Good judgement, strong communication skills and the confidence to influence and challenge when needed
  • Comfortable working with data and insights to understand what’s working and where we can improve

It’d be a bonus if you also have:

  • Experience running an in-house studio or working closely with agency teams
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
