Brief Job Description:
• Process lease accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS 16 / ASC 842)
• Maintain lease schedules, including additions, modifications, reassessments, and terminations
• Calculate and post right-of-use (ROU) asset and lease liability entries, including interest and depreciation
• Prepare and review lease-related journal entries, reconciliations, and trial balances
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to lease accounting
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of lease data within lease accounting systems/tools
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to validate lease inputs
• Respond promptly to queries from internal and external stakeholders, including auditors
• Support statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation and explanations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal control requirements (e.g., SOX)
• Monitor adherence to SLAs and ensure timely completion of all deliverables
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives
• Maintain proper documentation of processes, controls, and accounting treatments
• Extract and analyze lease data, summarize findings, and provide actionable insights
• Manage and monitor team deliverables, ensuring quality and accuracy
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives
• Obtain clean audit opinion without reported unadjusted differences for areas controllable by Supplier; and no identified errors by the external and internal auditors within listing scope of each stand-alone audit
• Promptly respond to inquiries of various internal and external stakeholders
• Support CUSTOMER's efforts to comply with regulations
• Managing/monitoring Staff Accountants & Jr Accountants deliverables
• Ensure all the activities are completed within due dates specified by CLIENT
• Make sure all the documentations are completed
• Work closely with team and onsite Team Leads and Managers
• Extract and analyze data, and summarize findings, including making recommendations based on findings

Technical Skill Requirements:
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Lease Accounting / R2R / GL
• Strong knowledge of lease accounting standards (IFRS 16 / ASC 842)
• Experience in preparing lease schedules, reconciliations, and disclosures
• Hands-on experience with lease accounting tools
• Experience with ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, JDE
• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, data analysis)
• Familiarity with reconciliation tools (e.g., BlackLine) is an added advantage
• Experience in audit support and SOX compliance
• Strong documentation and process improvement skills
• Good understanding of end-to-end R2R processes
• Good written and Oral communication skills
• Ability to document the process
• Ability to initiate continuous process improvements
• Must be computer literate; Excel, Word, PPT
