Work with enterprise level data to create executive dashboards

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop to support business reporting and decision-making needs.
• Develop intuitive visualizations that effectively communicate complex data insights to business stakeholders.
• Connect and integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL databases, Excel files, APIs, and cloud platforms, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Perform data transformation and cleansing using Power Query to prepare data for reporting.
• Create calculated columns, measures, and KPIs using DAX based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective dashboards and analytics solutions.
• Analyze and optimize existing dashboards and reports for performance and usability improvements.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights that support business decision-making.
• Publish reports to Power BI Service and manage datasets, dashboards, and workspace access.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and follow data governance and security practices.
• Schedule data refresh and monitor report usage and performance.
• Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy.
• Support enhancements, issue resolution, and maintenance of existing dashboards.
• Maintain documentation for data sources, transformations, and dashboard designs for knowledge sharing and maintainability.

Primary Skills:

• Power BI Desktop: Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports.
• DAX: Working knowledge of DAX functions for measures and calculated fields.
• Power Query: Experience in data preparation and transformation.
• Data Modeling: Understanding of relationships, star schema, and data modeling basics.
• SQL: Ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries for data extraction.
• Power BI Service: Experience publishing reports and managing workspaces and refresh schedules.
• Data Visualization: Ability to design clear and business-friendly dashboards.
• Dashboard Optimization: Understanding of report performance tuning techniques.
• Data Governance & Security: Basic understanding of data access controls and governance practices.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot data and reporting issues.
• Communication & Collaboration: Ability to interact with business users and work in team environments.

• 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics with hands-on experience in Power BI and SQL.
• Graduate/Postgraduate preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments and handle challenging requirements.
• Experience working in global or dual-shore delivery models is preferred.
• Experience with additional data tools or visualization platforms is an advantage.
