The purpose of this role is to deliver analysis inline with client business objectives, goals, and to maintain, develop and exceed client performance targets.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Lead Analyst to support analytics and measurement initiatives within Merkle’s health vertical. This role blends campaign performance analysis, data validation, and measurement support, with a focus on developing clear, actionable insights that inform marketing decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong SQL and dashboarding expertise, proficiency with modern data tools, and a strong interest in leveraging automation and AI-driven techniques to enhance analytical workflows and insight generation.
This role plays a key role in analytics execution and insight generation in support of campaign measurement, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. The Lead Analyst will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to analyze performance, validate data, and help shape recommendations that drive measurable outcomes. A critical aspect of this role is clearly communicating insights and presenting findings to client stakeholders, while identifying opportunities to enhance workflows through automation and AI-assisted tools.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Performance, Reporting & Insight Development
Analyze campaign performance across email, CRM, and web channels
Build and maintain dashboards that translate analyses into clear, actionable insights for decision-making
Support and refine KPI frameworks, contributing to performance summaries and client-ready materials
Apply analytical techniques (e.g., segmentation, trend analysis) to deepen insights and inform recommendations
Measurement & Data Management
Support data onboarding, validation, and integration
Validate outputs and ensure data quality through a strong understanding of underlying data and methodologies
Contribute to measurement initiatives (e.g., attribution, audience, cross-channel analysis)
Identify opportunities to improve measurement and reporting through automation and AI-assisted tools
Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure data accuracy and alignment
Follow data governance and privacy guidelines
Project Ownership, Communication & Collaboration
Own delivery of assigned workstreams, ensuring timely and accurate outputs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CRM, data, and client stakeholders
Present insights and recommendations to client stakeholders in a clear, structured, and actionable manner
Communicate findings effectively through dashboards, summaries, and presentations
Identify risks or dependencies and proactively escalate or address as appropriate
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Identify and drive improvements in analytics and reporting workflows
Leverage automation, reusable code, and emerging tools to drive efficiency
Apply AI-assisted methods to enhance analysis and reporting where appropriate
Stay informed on evolving analytics and measurement best practices
Qualifications
4–7+ years in marketing analytics or a related field
Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis
Hands-on expertise in building and maintaining dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), with a focus on usability and actionable insights
Demonstrated ability to translate data into clear insights and business implications
Proven capability to present insights and recommendations to client or stakeholder audiences
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with common analytical techniques (segmentation, trend analysis, modeling)
Proactive interest in leveraging automation and AI-driven tools to improve analytical workflows, efficiency, and insight generation
Solid understanding of data privacy and governance fundamentals
Preferred Qualifications
Background in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or consumer health analytics
Experience in Python for data analysis and automation
Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
Exposure to guiding junior team members is a plus
Theannualsalary range for this position is $78,000-$112,455Placement within the salary rangeis based on a variety of factors,including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factorspermittedby law.
