Job Description

Job Title: Lead Analyst IT, Digital Transformation, Autodesk Fusion Manage (PLM)Reports to: IT Snr. Director, Enterprise Digital Transformation

Team Size: 10-15

The Lead Analyst IT, Digital Transformation, Autodesk Fusion Manage (PLM) is a hands-on techno-functional leader, who will own the Autodesk Fusion Manage platform roadmap, architecture, governance, scalability and reliability.The Lead will be responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of the PLM engineering business application.

Highly experienced, ensuring continuity of operations, system stability, and ongoing enhancements. The Lead Analyst is expected to be hands-on, working on live production systems with minimal supervision.The position plays a critical role in supporting engineering operations and driving innovation through modern technologies, including AI and intelligent automation.

Key Responsibilities

PLM Administration & Configuration

  • Lead solution architecture, release management, platform governance, and technical standards

  • User creation, role assignment, and license administration

  • Workspace configuration (fields, forms, grids, page layouts)

  • Workflow configuration, transitions, permissions, and validations

  • Lifecycle and revision management support

  • Troubleshooting configuration-related issues

  • Archiving documents, Change request, Change order and Items/BOMs based on business requirement

PLM Scripting & Automation

  • Development and maintenance of JavaScript scripts in PLM

  • Workflow action scripts and field-level validations

  • Automation of calculations, refresh logic, and dependency handling

  • Notification Manager setup and maintenance

  • Debugging and optimizing existing scripts

Integrations & Data Management

  • Support and maintenance of PLM ↔ ERP integrations (Oracle)

  • Item, BOM, and Document data synchronization

  • Monitoring, error handling, and reprocessing failed integrations

  • Expand integrations using REST APIs, OAuth, JSON/XML, middleware and Azure integration technologies


Testing & Deployment

  • Configuration and testing in Sandbox environments

  • UAT support with business stakeholders

  • Production deployment support

  • Post-deployment issue resolution

Deliverables

  • Configured and functional PLM workspaces

  • Stable scripts and integrations

  • Manage incident, problem, root cause analysis, and business continuity planning.

  • Timely resolution of assigned issues and requests

  • Technical documentation and knowledge transfer (if required)

Tools & Technologies

  • Autodesk Fusion Manage (PLM)

  • JavaScript (Fusion PLM scripting)

    Innovation, Automation & AI

  • Champion innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies.

  • Lead initiatives incorporating AI/ML, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics to improve operational efficiency

  • Drive AI-enabled engineering capabilities including document classification, BOM validation, engineering change impact analysis, and Copilot adoption

  • Evaluate and implement tools such as generative AI for development productivity, business insights, and process optimization

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation

Project & Delivery Management

  • Manage development projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget

  • Collaborate with PMO or project managers to track progress, risks, and dependencies

  • Ensure thorough testing, validation, and documentation of all solutions

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with the Engineering business team to understand and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • Manage vendor performance, SOW reviews, budgets, and technical deliverables.
    Support end users during deployments and issue resolution

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure applications comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.

  • Work closely with cybersecurity teams to enforce secure development practices

Requirements and Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred)

  • 8+ years of hands-on Fusion Manage (PLM) technical and functional experience

  • Experience supporting manufacturing engineering environments

  • Preferred certifications: Autodesk Fusion Manage, PMP, Scrum Master, ITIL Foundation, AWS Fundamentals, AI Fundamentals

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with PLM administration and development

  • Experience working on production systems

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and SaaS integrations

  • Knowledge of APIs, microservices, and middleware technologies

  • Knowledge of system integrations and data flows

  • Ability to work independently with minimal handholding

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with DevOps tools and Agile methodologies.

  • Conversational English is required
