Job Description

Reports to: IT Snr Director, Enterprise Applications

Team Size: Individual contributor; may guide analysts or contractors on assigned workstreams

About the Role

TPI Composites is looking for a Lead Analyst, IT to support our finance application portfolio, with a primary focus on Oracle EBS and adjacent finance systems. This is a hands-on role responsible for gathering requirements, configuring and testing solutions, and providing production support across strategic projects, enhancements, and integrations.

You'll work closely with finance business stakeholders and the broader Enterprise Applications team to translate business processes into system solutions, while serving as a subject-matter expert on finance applications and helping guide less-experienced analysts on the team.

Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from finance stakeholders; translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for digitization, automation, and standardization to reduce cost-to-serve.
  • Evaluate alternative solutions and technology approaches, assessing feasibility and making recommendations to project leadership.

Design, Configuration & Delivery

  • Design, configure, and test solutions within Oracle EBS and related finance applications (e.g., EPM), including enhancements, integrations, and new functionality.
  • Support the full SDLC for assigned projects — from design through testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Partner with technical resources and developers to ensure solutions are built to specification and validated against business requirements.
  • Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials to support deployments and knowledge transfer.

Production Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Serve as a subject-matter resource for production support issues related to finance applications, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating fixes.
  • Monitor for compliance with required controls and support audit related documentation for finance systems.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled automation, advanced analytics, or process improvements within existing finance workflows.

Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Act as a day-to-day liaison between finance business teams and IT, building strong working relationships to ensure solutions meet real business needs.
  • Collaborate with the extended IT Enterprise Applications team to align on process and system standards.
  • Provide guidance and informal mentorship to analysts or contractors working on shared projects.

What You'll Bring

Required

  • 8+ years of progressive IT experience supporting enterprise finance applications.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP software, including EBS (functional and/or technical); EPM experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and delivering system enhancements or projects from design through go-live.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical business audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • High personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters with sound judgment.

Preferred

  • Experience with cloud ERP/EPM platforms (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud) or hybrid on-prem/cloud finance environments.
  • Exposure to AI-driven automation, RPA, or advanced analytics applied to finance operations.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing business processes.
  • Experience mentoring analysts or coordinating work with external contractors.
