We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Analystto join our Global Procurement Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Gurugram. The Lead Analyst will partner with Global Procurement stakeholders within GNFR (Goods not for resale) and GFR (Goods for Resale) and support Head of Global Procurement and Directors of Global Procurement by collecting, entering, processing, and analyzing data to ensure appropriate analysis, monitoring, and execution of Supplier Accounts in association with Procurement targets connected to business targets.
This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong hands-on expertise in Power BI and a fair understanding of procurement processes. The ideal candidate should be capable of working with large datasets, developing insightful dashboards, and collaborating with global stakeholders in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s Degree/Certification in a related field preferred).
5+ years of relevant experience in a quantitative/applied analytics role, preferably with a strong background in global procurement processes or related.
Hands-on expertise in Power BI including dashboard development, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling using Python, PySpark, R, etc.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
Key Skill Requirements:
Fair understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing, PR/PO lifecycle, vendor management, and contract tracking.
Working understanding of ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of SQL, Power Automate, or other analytics tools (Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, Alteryx, etc.) will be an added advantage.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
Good to have: Hands-on experience supporting the IGNITE tool.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support reporting and analytics requirements across GNFR (goods not for resale) procurement categories.
Analyze, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency for reporting and decision-making.
Identify trends, patterns, and business insights through statistical analysis and ad-hoc reporting to support strategic decisions.
Design and develop intuitive, user-centric dashboards and analytical solutions using tools like Power BI to improve business visibility and performance.
Create business and analytics documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, process maps, user stories, and test cases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership to deliver analytics projects and communicate actionable insights effectively.
Support business reviews, presentations, and ad-hoc analytical requirements.
Drive operational excellence by improving data quality processes, automating issue detection, and benchmarking procurement and finance performance.
Support data governance and provide training, guidance, and documentation to end-users on analytics tools, reporting standards, and dashboard utilization.
