Job Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Credit Strategy Analyst to support validation and assurance of credit decisioning systems. The role focuses on ensuring decision outcomes align with intended credit strategies by analysing data inputs, decision logic, and system outputs across the end-to-end credit lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate system decision outputs against expected credit strategy behaviour
• Perform end-to-end assessment of decision flow (input data to outcome)
• Develop and use emulators to replicate decision logic and benchmark outputs
• Compare emulator outputs with live decisions to identify discrepancies
• Conduct root cause analysis across data, rules, and integration points
• Review JSON payloads and decision outputs for accuracy
• Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
• Collaborate with Risk, Data, and Engineering teams to resolve gaps

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience with Credit Risk Decision Systems
• Strong understanding of credit risk strategies (especially acquisition)
• Experience building/using emulators for decision validation
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Ability to independently identify root causes
• Working knowledge of SAS and Excel
• Clear and concise communication skills

Desirable Skills

• Experience with JSON in decisioning environments
• Understanding of end-to-end credit journeys
• Experience in banking or financial services

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage business analysis activities within the organization
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
3. Develop detailed project documentation including user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
4. Work closely with the development team to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions
5. Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and the project team
6. Conduct workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather requirements and provide project updates
7. Utilize agile methodologies to support project delivery and ensure alignment with business goals
8. Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices in business analysis

2. Proficiency in agile methodology and experience working in agile environments
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels

6. Proven track record of delivering successful projects through effective business analysis

8. Certification in business analysis or agile methodology is a plus
