Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking experienced and motivated Lead Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to join and help guide our growing pediatric specialty teams. These leadership roles blend advanced clinical practice with operational and team leadership, supporting exceptional patient care while mentoring and developing nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
Available Lead APP Roles:
• General Surgery
• Pulmonology
• Gastroenterology
As a Lead APP, you will:
• Provide clinical care to pediatric patients within your specialty area
• Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and role model for nurse practitioners and physician assistants
• Support daily operations, workflow optimization, and patient throughput
• Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to enhance care coordination and patient outcomes
• Contribute to quality improvement, safety initiatives, and best-practice standardization
• Assist with onboarding, education, and professional development of APP team members
